What we do

Two upgrades. One capable home.

Most of our work comes down to two things: giving your home more electrical capacity, and making it look and feel better with light. Here is how we help.

Panel upgrades

More capacity for what comes next.

Still running a 100-amp panel from the 1970s? Between EV charging, heat pumps, induction ranges and home offices, the average home needs more power than ever. We replace tired panels with modern 200-amp service — new breakers, clean labelling, surge protection, and an ESA permit on every job.

  • Load calculation before we quote — no overselling
  • ESA notification and inspection handled for you
  • Most upgrades completed in a single day
  • Clean, labelled, photo-documented work

Common questions

Before you plug in.

Do I need a panel upgrade for an EV charger?

Not every home does. The answer depends on your existing service size, current electrical load, charger output, and future plans. A load assessment determines whether your panel can support a dedicated charging circuit or needs an upgrade.

Can you install the charger I already purchased?

Yes. Share the charger brand and model when you contact us so we can review its electrical requirements and plan the right circuit and placement.

Where can a home charger be installed?

Common locations include attached and detached garages, exterior walls, and posts near a driveway. Placement depends on parking access, cable reach, weather exposure, and the route back to the electrical panel.

Are there EV charger rebates in Ontario?

As of fall 2026, Ontario has not offered a province-wide rebate for residential EV charger installations since 2018, and the federal iZEV program was paused in January 2025. Some local utilities may offer limited programs from time to time, so check with your electricity provider before installation. Eligibility and funding can change.

Does an EV charger installation require an ESA permit?

Yes. In Ontario, a new EV charger circuit requires an electrical notification (permit) through the Electrical Safety Authority. A licensed electrical contractor should arrange the notification, complete the work to code, and coordinate inspection requirements.

What information helps with a faster quote?

Send photos of your electrical panel and proposed charger location, the distance between them, your charger or vehicle model, and your city. A site visit may still be needed before the final scope is confirmed.
